Pupil Premium Expenditure and Impact 2021-2024

What is the Pupil Premium Grant?

The Pupil Premium Grant is additional funding provided to schools to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between these pupils and their peers.

How is the Pupil Premium Grant allocated?

Dawpool receives the Pupil Premium Grant for:

  •        Children who are eligible for free school meals at any point in the past six years.
  •        Children who have been looked after under local authority care for more than one day.
  •        Children whose families have served in the Armed Forces.

In the academic year 2024/25, Dawpool Church of England Primary School will receive £16,230. This is an initial allocation which may be amended later in the year.

Dawpool is committed to utilising the Pupil Premium Grant to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils, however it is expected that the outcomes of the grant expenditure will likely improve attainment for all pupils.  During the Autumn Term, a report identifying the expenditure and impact of the Pupil Premium Grant will be published on the school website.  The current report can be downloaded below.
