We will be holding our cake sale on Friday 16th February 2018 at 2.00pm in the school hall. This will be an opportunity for the children to become shopkeepers and handle real money in real life situations. It would be wonderful to see parents, grandparents and any other friends or family members at this event, to help re-inforce our use of money.

If you are younger does that mean you are shorter?

Literacy - We will be sequencing the Christmas story and will use our phonic knowledge to hear initial sounds in words and write captions to go with each stage of the story.

Topic: How do people celebrate Christmas? That is question we will be trying to answer this week. Through paired discussion and group work we will be looking at all the different ways people celebrate Christmas. We will also be discussing memories we have of past Christmas experiences. Next we will look in detail at the Christmas story and think about why it is that we have Christmas at all!
